Grand Champion Lightplane (Light Sport Aircraft) at Sun-N-Fun, 2007:
U-FLY-IT built this 2 place Challenger Long Wing in 2001, and it is owned by our friend Tom Flesher of Longwood, Florida. The plane currently has just over 400 hours on the airframe and is powered by a Rotax 503 engine with a 3 blade Warp Drive carbon fiber prop. The floats are 14' Puddle Jumper amphibious, with molded in gel coat color to match the Poly-Fiber Aerothane paint. The plane is also equipped with Grand Rapids Technologies EIS, 2 of our Streamline Cargo pods and BRS VLS parachute.
